Predestination (the film)

I watched this last night. Utterly great film, so much better than your usual scifi/time travel stuff with a genuinely brilliant, didn't see THAT coming ending.
I dunno how this gem slipped past me on release?

Chronicle is very good. On the back of that, the director, Josh Trank, was offered and went onto make, the woeful Fantastic 4. Due to that being so pony, the offer to him to make a standalone Star Wars movie was quickly withdrawn.

Just sought it out and watched it after reading the op.
Not for me, I'm afraid.
I have also watched Gascoigne this morning. I'd recommend that.

Cracking film.
Another cracker is 'Chronicle'. Usually hate shaky camera but this film was so well shot, with a clever sinister developing plot, and has great entertainment. Tragedy it never got recognised for its brilliance.

Well I liked it with the best twist ending I have seen in a good long while. Especially when you think the big twist comes after about an hour.
4 out of 5 from me.

The tagline for this film should have been 'Go fuck yourself'.
